With the continuous upgrading of large wheel diameter technology in the bicycle industry, 32-inch rims have emerged as a new technical trend for riding scenarios such as XC cross-country, thanks to their remarkable advantages in obstacle crossing, rolling efficiency and high-speed stability. Recognized by the UCI for professional competition use from 2026, 32-inch rims have attracted numerous international brands to join the R&D layout.
Following the wave of industrial technological innovation, KOIBIKE officially launches the R&D and future mass production plan for 32-inch carbon rims. Leveraging the brand's mature manufacturing technology of carbon fiber wheel sets, this R&D project will focus on the core performance advantages of 32-inch rims and conduct special optimization for the adaptability of large wheel diameters: it will combine the physical characteristics of smaller obstacle-crossing attack angles and lower rolling resistance, while solving the adaptability requirements of large wheel diameters for frame geometry and transmission systems. The product will be suitable for mainstream mountain riding scenarios such as XC and Trail, and can provide more coordinated frame proportions and riding experience for riders over 180cm in height.
